In SISDEV, we embark on integrated development approach, that includes the delivery of one or a combination of programmes services for every community we work, through capacity enhancement and social inclusion, transparent and inclusive community governance skills, peacebuilding and conflict management, adolescents reproductive health education, sensitization on safe motherhood practices, STIs/HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and management awareness creation, gender equality, sexual and Gender Base Violence (SGBV) prevention, Environmental sustainability Education, Communicable and non-communicable diseases prevention/treatment measures sensitization, Water and Sanitation, personal and family Hygiene (WASH) education and respect for human rights, advocacy.
Our overall strategy is to provide the needed community services, build the local capacity, empower the people to direct the services and put in place a mechanism that brings about sustained community championed social and inclusive development.
The high expectations for sound programme implementation and service delivery are consistent with our overall objective of reducing poverty, improving healthy living, respect for human rights and social inclusion, enhancing peace, livelihood security and stability in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.

In truth, the rural, community people, the marginalized and the voiceless in the society need our help and we are passionately ready to help where we can. Thus, given our vision, mission, goals, objectives, and organizational principles, we would say that SISDEV is not just another NGO providing help, but a movement inspired by concerned people who want to make a difference in changing the lives of others who would not have been better off if it were not for support from SISDEV. It is our conviction and believes that we will at all times continue to make an enhanced positive difference in the well-being of people in the Niger Delta communities. For this reason, was SISDEV established.
